Hello Seismic community 👋
I’m Umberto Milletti, and I’m excited to join Seismic as Chief Product and Technology Officer. I lead our global product and technology teams, including design, engineering, technical support, and AI research, and I’m looking forward to learning from you, the customers who use our products every day.
I’ve spent my career building software companies, including founding InsideView and later leading product and engineering at Demandbase. One lesson has stayed with me throughout my career: The best products are built alongside customers. Your feedback tells us what is working, what is getting in your way, and where we can make your day-to-day work easier.
It’s no secret that AI is creating new ways for teams to work, but it only matters if it helps people do their jobs better. My focus will be helping our teams turn good ideas into useful experiences that solve real problems for you, and helping your teams outperform in the moments that matter.
Over the coming months, I will listen closely, learn from your experiences, and keep you informed as our product and technology roadmap takes shape. I look forward to meeting many of you at Seismic Shift, our annual conference open to all customers, this month.
A little about me: I’m originally from Italy 🇮🇹 and have been an entrepreneur from a young age. That ambition brought me to America for college, where I studied at Tufts and UC Berkeley, and eventually to San Francisco, where I’m based today. Outside of work, I recharge at the racetrack, where I race cars, or on winding bay area roads on my road bike. When I really need to reset, I look for somewhere warm with beautiful water and go scuba diving.
