Seismic Community: How-To Guide

Welcome to the Seismic Community! 🎉

This space is built for you to connect, share, learn, and grow with peers and the Seismic Community. Below you’ll find tips, etiquette, and step-by-step instructions to help you get started and make the most out of your community experience.

🌟 Community Etiquette

Our goal is to keep this community welcoming, helpful, and fun for everyone. A few simple guidelines:

  • Be kind & respectful 🤝 – Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.

  • Share generously 💡 – Post your knowledge, experiences, and best practices so others can learn from you.

  • Stay professional 🧑‍💼 – Keep conversations constructive, even when you disagree.

  • Give kudos 🎉 – Use likes and replies to celebrate others’ contributions.

  • Protect privacy 🔒 – Don’t share sensitive personal or company information.

1. Complete Your Profile Information

Everybody likes to know who they’re speaking with! By adding more details to your profile, you’re more likely to receive quicker and more helpful replies.

Go to your Profile and:

  • Add a profile picture (a photo of you or something you like)

  • Write a short bio/signature (a sentence that will appear under all your posts)

  • Add your company

  • Add your role/title

  • Share your location (country/city)

  • Fill in any other fields you’d like to share

👉 A complete profile makes it easier for others to connect with you.

2. Don’t Be Afraid to Post, Share, or Ask

The community is stronger when everyone contributes. Don’t hesitate to:

  • Post your questions—there’s no such thing as a “stupid” one!

  • Share your experiences—tell others what’s working well for you or lessons you’ve learned.

  • Ask for input—curious how others approach something? Just ask!

💡 Tip: If a reply doesn't make sense to you, don’t be shy about asking for clarification. It makes the conversation more valuable for everyone.
