I was under the impression that if I have a piece of content in a DSR, let’s call it XYZ Sell Sheet, that if a month later, I update the XYZ sell sheet to a newer version, then that will automatically update all livesends and DSR’s that have the XYZ sell sheet. However, this does not appear to be working correctly. It seems I have to manually update and save the DSR in order for it to update. Is that true? Does not seem optimal.

Hi Erik, Yes it should be automatically updating when you have updated the content in Seismic. I know this is active for content from the main portion of Seismic (Library) but the Seismic team will need to confirm if this is active on anything loaded via Workspace.

Some of our sellers have noticed in the past that this wasn’t happening - but when I asked them how they added the content to their DSR they had downloaded and uploaded it back into a DSR. Once the workflow for them was corrected everything went fine.

If you keep having issues I would suggest a Support ticket to check your tenant.

“LiveSend content auto update” as a feature must be enabled. I would validate whether or not it is in your TeamSite.

Configure LiveSend content auto-update.

I think this is still a relatively new feature to Seismic, and I don’t think there is an option to select it at the content or LiveSend level by the user, when creating an external share (wink wink product team).

If not enabled, any content shared externally should be considered more of a snapshot or point in time. LiveSend owners can still obviously manually make updates to content shared in DR’s, etc.,
