OneDrive Sync - Looking for Help

A couple of questions regarding the OneDrive sync.

We had it setup and it was working, but in my User Settings it’s now showing Connection Lost and so I can no longer add content. And I can’t seem to re-establish the connection… AADSTS7000112: Application '575f89a4-fcd5-49e9-bced-0d1257d410b8'(Seismic for OneDrive) is disabled. Receiving this error…

The other question is that up until this point we had been syncing SharePoint content via oAuth. Since support for that is going away next year, and as we were having issues with getting things to sync this year via oAuth we decided to move to the OneDrive sync. When I was adding in content via OneDrive from SharePoint (content that already exists in our Seismc tenant via the oAuth sync) it’s acting like it’s brand new content I’m adding so I need to go through and re-tag things and re-publish. Is there a way to either change the sync method for SharePoint content that’s already in Seismic from oAuth to OneDrive so we don’t have to re-tag or is there another step that I’m missing when syncing via OneDrive for Seismic to be able to tell that it’s existing content and tag it based on what’s already in Seismic.  I was hoping I could go into the existing content and update the sync by changing the Sync Owner to OneDrive but whenever I try to get to that screen I keep getting Internal Server Error.  Any help, instructions, etc. would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Sheri,

Yes! We can absolutely migrate your SharePoint content to use OneDrive for Business Sync. 🎉

You’ve already made the connection, so the rest should be easy — the migration is mostly handled on our backend and doesn’t require much from your side. We’ll be actively reaching out to customers over the next couple of weeks to get this process underway.

In the meantime, you can also reach out to your CSM and have them submit a request to our product team to begin your migration.

This approach ensures you keep your analytics and avoid the issue of existing content being flagged as “new.” You’ll also receive a list of your content so you can choose whether to migrate everything or just select files to OneDrive Sync.

Here’s early access to the migration guide to help you get started😁
